Well a couple of days ago I started looking for ways to get my book out to the public via Fiverr.com well I paid money from my promotional budget for the book and it came back that over 11.6k worth of people looked at my book via the feed back from the analytics I got back from google. I started to research the true validity of Fiverr. I found that there is a HUGE loop hole that is that is called Hitleap.com combined with a plugin with your browser. You can spoof hits via Onion network from all over the world. The buyer (me) is never aware of what is really happening until you do the research.

How did I find this out? Well there was a HUGE red flag raised when I received my report..

If you look at the sources that clicked to see my book came from demographics that would not read it in the first place due to the subject material. Russia and Indonesia are not part of my sites analytics in fact I have never had a reader from these locations. That says a lot then I started looking at way to make money on my blog by listing LGBT books as a gig on Fiverr.com. During this research I found a link to Hitleap in a conversation on Quora.com where I answer questions about being Transgender.

What hitleap does is a link exchange to help bloggers get there site out in front of others by doing a click for a click style advertising. Meaning if you click someone’s link to there sight they will allow someone to click yours. At the core this is a great idea but fails due to legal hacking of a system. This is done by creating an app or a plugin that follows a link given to it. Thus fooling a system into thinking you are doing something you are not. Then you can log onto the Onion network and run the app while on there spoofing your IP address making it look like you are somewhere you are not.

So overall I have learned my lesson on Fiverr.com if they are offering to give your link to others Don’t waste your marketing budget on it. Now I am not saying all Fiverr services are going to have this happen to it, but I am saying BE CAREFUL buyer beware……
